Wow!!! That was such an awesome game! US vs Canada… all NHL players on both teams. Canada has Crosby, Brodeur, and Thornton – all amazing players! The US goalie, Ryan Miller, made 42 saves and only allowed 3 goals! One of the best games I have seen in a long time!

I am still waiting to see an ice skating competition. I missed the men… an American won the gold medal! I saw one ice dancing competition. It was nice, but it was the compulsory round, which means that every team did the same dance to the same song, so it got boring after a bit. Has anyone seen any other ice skating competitions?

I am sitting here watching curling with my daughter. The U.S. is playing against France. This is the most interesting sport. It involves a lot of planning and strategy, which is so different from many of the other sports that involve more strength and speed. Have you seen this sport? I would like to know how someone first thought of this sport!

I think my favorite sport is ice skating. I always wished I could skate like Olympic skaters can. They make it look so easy and it’s so beautiful.

Wow, he’s amazing! I love watching his tricks! It’s like skateboarding on snow!

Did you see Apolo Ohno skate the other night? He is so fast!!! The way he came around the rest of the skaters to take the lead and win his qualifying heat was amazing! I wish he would have won better than silver though!
